Art. 4 · AI literacy. Since 2 February 2025 you must take measures supporting AI literacy of people who work with AI. After the amendment, Regulation 2026/1744 in force since 27 July 2026, this is an obligation of effort, not of result. A company does not have to guarantee the level of any individual. A failure to train under Art. 4 alone carries no separate fine under Art. 99(4).

Annex III · possible high-risk use. A concrete system may fall among high-risk systems depending on its purpose and deployment. The relevant date is 2 December 2027.
